- Performs tests and measurements of muscles, nerves, skin temperature, range of joint motion, involving manual or electrical means and interprets results
- Conducts screenings of patients at regular intervals to determine need for intervention/treatment
- Evaluates patients to obtain data necessary for treatment
- Reviews physician referral and patients condition and medical record to determine physical treatment required
- Tests and measures patients strength, motor development, functional capacity, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency, and records findings to develop or revise treatment program
